About Me
I have an ScB in Applied Math / Economics from Brown University. I had a fifteen-year career in investments, where I built econometric models of the stock market for hedge funds and was a quantitative portfolio manager. In 2002, I switched gears and became a high school math teacher. I taught for twenty years, the final fifteen of which were at Concord Academy-- many of those as department head. I have taught classes from algebra 1 through vector and multivariable calculus. I have also designed and taught classes on economics, psychology/statistics, financial literacy, and the math of social justice. I retired in the spring of 2022.
